New to BTHelp? -Tips for getting around - Click to read moreTry these new or improved navigation tools within the Navigation Window on your left:
- Full Text Search: Enter the phrase you're looking for, select the Search button. Results are ranked based on relevance, with key words highlighted throughout the topic displayed. Use the 'Remove search highlighting' button on the toolbar to see the topic in it's natural state. Use quotes around phrases to search for specific search strings, e.g. "lot calendar"
- Where Am I? You'll never get lost in BTHelp again. The 'live' window displayed is highlighted in the Contents tree in the navigation window. As you move around the highlighted section changes.
- New Help Topics: The latest updates to BTHelp are marked with a star (*) in the Contents panel.
- Breadcrumbs: Like the BuildTopia application, every topic displays the navigation path that brought you here. Links to previous pages are underlined for easy backward navigation.
- Favorites: Got a Help Topic you visit regularly? Learning new functionality in the system? With the topic displayed on your screen, select the 'Add Topic To Favorites' button on the toolbar. Once you've mastered them, topics are easily removed from Favorites in the navigation window.
- BTHelpSystem Navigation Tips:
- Process Flow Charts! Each content section opens with a descriptive overview of the process and a flow chart that details the process tasks. In addition, each task is depicted within the module or administrative link under which you access it.
- Step-by-Step Procedures! In addition to a general description and specific steps for accessing tasks, each task document details steps for completing the task. It's never been easier to do what you want and need to do!
- What does that mean? Now you can view word definitions right within the text - Pop up definition
allows you to quickly understand what a word means on the fly
