About Tags

Description

Tags are used to customize documents, such as campaign emails, campaign letters, and sales contract documents.

Notes

• For a tagged document to be read correctly within the BuildTopia application, each tag must begin and end with "@@" and each word within the tag must be separated with an underscore "_".  For example, the tag for prospect first name is @@prospect_first_name@@.
• A comprehensive tag template is listed here.  These are the only tags recognized by the BuildTopia application.
• Tagged documents [Letters] must be saved as .RTF files.
• Tags in Sales Letters and Sales Emails work differently from tags in Sales Contracts. Tagged Sales Letters and Sales Emails read Prospect information only; they cannot pull details such as lot number and price that are associated to a Workup or Agreement for a Buyer. Tagged Sales Contract documents pull information from both the Prospect / Buyer demographic data AND Workup / Agreement associated data.
• Since Broker Agent and Mortgage Company records are managed at the Company level, Project and Prospect/Buyer tags are not available for use in Email Templates and Letters addressing these entities. Broker Agent and Mortgage Company tags listed below are available for use in the Broker Agent and Mortgage Company documents.
• 'Current Users' tags are available for use throughout the application. User tags are suggested for use in any case where company level entities are addressed, such as Broker Agent and Mortgage Company emails and letters. Data associated with the user generating the email or letter will display in the generated document.

Steps

1. Type the document - email, letter, or contract - in Word format.
2. Using the format noted above, type the desired tag(s) within the document.
3. As desired edit the tag for increased visibility within the document.

2. Font size.  
3. Font color/bold.
4. Save the tagged document as an .RTF file.  It is now ready to upload within the BuildTopia application.
