the document list or via the Profile
link in any document list, depending on the user's assigned roles and
permissions.

Replace link
appears throughout the BT application in multiple modules and screens.
Replacing a document replaces the document file but does not change
the document name, folder, or document type.
The ability to replace a document is dependent on the users document
permissions.
Steps
- Select the Replace link.
- Enter a comment *required.
- Select the new file to upload.
- Select the Save
button to upload the document.

Associate/

Steps
- Select the Associate/Unassociate
Projects link.
- Select the Associated
or Unassociated
tab.
- Select individual projects to relocate to opposite
tab by selecting the applicable checkbox or use the Select
All button.
- Select Save
to continue or Cancel.

- Use one or more of the following parameters to
search for a document:
- Project
Name - select from the drop down
- Document
Name - enter in any part of the document's
name
- Document
Author - enter in any part of the authors
first or last name
- Document
Description - enter in any part of
the document's description
- Document
Folder - select from the drop down
- Document
Type - select from the drop down
- Create
Date - enter the date in the format
'00/00/0000' or click the
- Last
Modification Date - enter the date
in the format '00/00/0000' or click the
- Click Search
or Reset.
- The list of documents that match the search parameters
will be returned.
- Select the document(s) by selecting the checkbox
on the left of the document.
- Select Associate.

Delete Document

Check For Errors

link checks the document syntax
errors. No other types of errors (e.g., spelling, grammar) will
be checked. Once the link is clicked, a pop-up window appears that
indicates either "No Syntax Errors Found" or generates a list
of any detected errors.

Add Comment

BT users and trade partners can add comments to the current version
of a document which is tracked in the document log.
Steps
- Click the Add a Comment link.
- Enter the comment
- Click the Save
button to save the comment in the document Log.

Visibility Wizard

Notes
The visibility wizard allows the user to associate a document to multiple
entities at the same time. The entities that a document can be associated
to in this function are lots, trades, and plans.
Lots: document can only
be associated to lots in Projects already associated with the document
[at time of create or edit].
Trades: if a trade is
selected to associate the document is associated with that trade in all
Projects regardless of current project association.
Steps
- Click the Visibility Wizard link.
- Check the entities to associate the document with.
NOTE: The Select All
button will populate all of the check boxes for the items displayed in
the list.
- Click the Associate
button to associate the document to the items and continue selecting other
entities or the Associate & Exit
button to save and return to the previous screen.

Steps
1. Use one or more of the following parameters to search for a
document:
- Project
Name - select from the drop down
- Document
Name - enter in any part of the document's
name

Author - enter in any part of the authors

- Document

- Create
Date - enter the date in the format
'00/00/0000' or click the

Date - enter the date in the format '00/00/0000' or click the
. The last modified date on the DM Document List and Document
Profile Screen display the last date a document was uploaded, replaced
or properties edited. If interested in checking the last time a document
was uploaded or replaced checking the document log on the profile screen
provides this information.
2. Click Search or Reset
3. The list of documents matching the search parameters
will be returned.
