Trade Partner Management

Description

Trade Partner Management tasks are determined by permissions established in BTService Setup. The majority of Trade Partner management tasks are covered in the Data Library section of the BTHelpSystem at Manage Trade Partners. Trade Partner tasks specific to Customer Service and Warranty Management are covered here.

Tasks include:

Notes

Service Requests, Items, and Service Orders are created and opened by the Builder in the Customer Service module, as detailed in Service Order Management. Service orders assign responsibility for specific service items to a Trade Partner. Open Service Orders are visible to the Trade Partner in BTTrade > Service Orders tab.

Steps

  1. Select the Builder from the pull-down list.
  2. Select Open tab.
  3. Select the View link for the specific service order.
  4. Select the Complete link.
